Biography

Education: – Bachelors in Exercise and Sport Science from USF
– American College of Sport Medicine CPT

Experience: A lifetime athlete, Carolyn has participated in every-thing from pole-vaulting to half-marathons to coaching indoor soccer. A longtime yoga practitioner, she current-ly studies with one of the highest ranking Iyengar Yoga teachers in the world. Based on her own experiences, Carolyn enjoys working with people overcoming inju-ries and training plateaus, as well as with those seeking to establish their ideal weight.

Philosophy: Working out is one part of health, but there are 23 other hours in the day. As a personal trainer I will guide you down the path of physical wellbeing through a mixed modality of training techniques—including yoga, func-tional training, and interval training. We will work to-gether to help you cultivate physical strength, endur-ance, stability, and balance: qualities which you can then bring to bear throughout your day so that life’s many stressors confront a wholly integrated person. When your focus shifts from mere gym-going to feeling good, looking good becomes easy and fun!
