swimmerMariner Square Athletic Club proudly offers a variety of Aqua Aerobics classes for members to have a chance to build confidence within an aquatic environment as well as the ability to fulfill a wide range of aquatic fitness needs.

Aqua Aerobics Class Descriptions

Aqua Circuit
This class will work on toning all areas of your body with a mixture of muscle strengthening exercises and cardiovascular conditioning in a variety of different circuit training techniques.
H20 Aerobics (Mornings)
An adaptation of land aerobics (movement and calisthenics) utilizing the resistance and buoyancy of water. Format: Warm-up, active stretching, cardiovascular set, conditioning set and cool down stretch.
Senior's Plus Aqua Aerobics
WSI Arlene Palumbo has designed this class especially, but not exclusively, for seniors. A safe way to improve your circulation, coordination and posture as well as tone and firm the muscles.
H20 Aerobics (Evenings)
Take advantage of the benefits of low-impact water exercise in a class that has something for everyone. Whether your goal is strength and conditioning, weight loss, or rehabilitation from injuries, this class promotes wellness, fitness and fun. Aqua aerobics provides a workout to help you stay fit and maintain your range of motion, but it avoids the high-level impact of other activities.
Water Ballet and Boxing
From water ballet to boxing, this class is filled with Toni's touch of dance and self-defense moves. Learn new ballet and boxing moves using the physical properties of water by training your cardio-respiratory and muscular endurance systems as well as muscle strength.
